Leica Lounge @ Leica Store Miami w/ Kirsten Hines

Leica Lounge: Bird Photography with
Wildlife Author/Photographer Kirsten Hines @ Leica Store Miami
Thursday, March 8, 7-9pm
(free and open to the public. 60 spaces available)

Author, photographer and conservationist Kirsten Hines will discuss how her passion for nature and travel led her to backpack around the world for three years, a journey that converted her from a herpetologist scientifically analyzing nature to a storyteller reflecting nature. Kirsten will divulge how her biologist training influences her photography and how being involved in the arts has expanded her work to include a more interpretive abstract style aimed at conveying the emotional experience of nature.

The Leica Lounge is a lecture series hosted by Leica Store Miami which features presentations by local photographers, editors, gallerists and educators. Held monthly, these free events are designed to create and inspire the local photography community through sharing images and exchanging ideas. This event is free and open to the public. 60 seats available.
