Central Panama: Birding the Canal Zone, Campana and El Valle (Spaces Available)

TAS Field Trip Leader Luis Gonzalez and local guide Jacobo Ortega lead this week-long trip through the amazing country of Panama! This central Panama trip is made to cater to the birder who wants to add a variety of species to their life list without having to spend too much. Panama is the land bridge that connects Central and South American species and with the supplement of Northern migrants such as warblers, shorebirds and a variety of raptors participants can easily see over 250 species over the span of just a week. Manakins, toucans and parrots represent the tropics any new birder wants to check out, and some of our more sought-after target species like Rosy Thrush-Tanager and Ocellated Antbird will even have the veteran birder in a happy mood for a chance to encounter these species. Fee: $1,495.00 per person double occupancy, $345.00 single supplement. Fee includes transportation, all breakfasts and lunches, lodging and guides. Not included is round-trip airfare to Panama City, any dinners, tips, laundry costs and other incidental expenses.
