At 5;45 p.m., I was in my front yard in the Embassy Lakes neighborhood when i got a big surprise, a flyover by 3 noisy geese. They landed in the lake behind my house [Bermuda Dr.] and were joined by 2 others. I had a few minutes to study them in the failing light, and I am just about positive they were snow geese, either blues or immatures. They are settling in for the night out in the middle of the lake, only problem is that access to Embassy is restricted. I have never seen this species in south Florida, I had been planning to try to catch the Cutler bird this weekend. I'll try to get a photo in the morning.
